You are strictly advised to take this medication as per your doctor's recommendation. Take the same amount of dose as recommended. An overdose of Ultracet Medication can be life threatening. The maximum amount of this medication is about 8 tablets in a day, if advised by the doctor. You should not use any other non-prescribed medication for cough, cold or allergy etc along with Ultracet. If you do have to use other medication, consult with your doctor.
Acetaminophen is present in many cold and pain relieving non-prescription medications. Taking such medicines with Ultracet may increase the chances of larger amount of Acetaminophen in the body. It is advisable to read the label of every medicine carefully to avoid consuming more amount of Acetaminophen.
If you consume alcohol on regular basis, inform your doctor. Consult with your medical care provider if you ever had an alcoholic liver disease. In such circumstances you will not be able to take medications which contain acetaminophen.
You must be aware of the effects of Generic Ultracet on you. One should avoid consuming alcohol or taking drugs (cold and cough medicines, pain relievers, muscle relaxants, anti-depressant medications, anxiety and seizures medicines) which can enhance drowsiness. You might feel drowsier, if you take these medications with Ultracet. DO NOT perform any activity that requires complete attention or where there is a chance of an accident. |
